Dennis Outten

b. 1990, Prescot, England. Lives and works in Liverpool.

Dennis Outten works primarily in installation, film and sound. His art is reactionary and critical of social media, the mundane, current affairs and human experience.  With an interest in physics, the esoteric and the uncanny, his work seeks to convey the patterns and hidden links between objects, ideas and narratives often overlooked in everyday life. De-constructing ideas and observations to reassemble their meanings, he alters the scale and juxtaposition of objects, augmenting the viewers experience and understanding of an object’s inherent properties.

2009, BTEC National Diploma Fine Art (First Class) Riverside College, Runcorn, UK.

2008, Riverside College, Cronton, UK.
