Debrea Lewis

Lives and works in Liverpool, and Chester.

Debrea Lewis is a visual artist and printmaker, encompassing installation and theatrical arts. Her art is often conceptual, with a strong political narrative or social conscience. Her strengths are in line and mark making and in the bold use of colour. Her work explores relationships and opposing interfaces, between social, environmental and political situations that reflect the current debate. Debrea’s work is often preoccupied with associations, connections and opposing scenarios within contemporary discourse such as globalization, political unrest, migration, environmental concerns and social inequality.

Debrea is good all round lemon!
