Dennis Outten: I am a 2012 graduate of Fine Art at LJMU with First Class Honours. I am a film maker, sculptor and installation artist. I am passionate about inspiring change in society through creativity and I am driven by the need to improve the distribution of arts to the public.
Chris Moore: I graduated with a First Class honours at LJMU studying Creative Writing. I am a poet, short story writer and art critic. Debrea Lewis: I am a recent Graduate of the LJMU Fine Art course with First Class Honours. My art specialisms are printmaking, sculpture and installation. I want to provide an equitable and vibrant arena for all artists in the city of Liverpool and the region, to promote the work of recent graduates, and talented people. But most of all, have lots of fun.
Alex Herring: I am a freelance Theatre Designer, specialising in set, costume, props and puppetry. I am also a keen performer and deviser, currently developing skills in Workshop Leading, Physical Theatre, Clowning, Fire Poi, Site Specific Performance, and Multi-Media Experimentation. In early 2013, I won £1000 from IdeasTap ‘Ideas Innovators Fund’ to develop and create an innovative and unique style of visual theatre using a combination of puppetry, film, animation, sound and live music. My work draws influence from a variety of art forms, from dance and music to art installations, film and interior design (even video games). I have a strong interest in paper sculpture/manipulation, textile development and altered/up-cycled crafts and often uses recycled materials and found objects in my work.
The Lemon Head: CEO, CFO, Head Treasurer, Sole Benefactor, King of The Lemon Collective. Working in every business sector, from the bottom of the food chain to the top, has taught me a lot about the society. What people need most, what they crave for more than anything is to be entertained. Entertainment is everything. Everything is entertainment. I can’t subscribe to the established zones of entertainment, TV, clubs, art exhibitions, cinemas, gigs. At The Lemon Collective, we specialise in the unexpected. We bring everything together in our cross cultural variety shows. Expect the unexpected. Entrepreneur, Manager, Collector, Politician, Artist, Musician, Writer, Comedian, Therapist and Social Activist. Karl Marx in reverse
Laura Sullivan: I am a Liverpool based artist working on collaborative projects and events as well as developing my personal work. My art is mostly mixed media based but the materials and processes used are appropriated to the individual idea. I believe art is a way of life and the best way to interact with it is by immersing yourself in projects like The Lemon Collective that combine multiple creative fields with awe-inspiring effect.
