Liverpool Bandstand @ The Christmas Village

The city’s first pop-up bandstand will be the feature attraction of a continental Christmas village in the heart of the city centre.

Situated in the historic Williamson Square the unique structure, which has been funded by City Central BID, will provide live, festive entertainment. Visitors can enjoy free performances Thursday to Sunday from 12.30pm to 5pm, and until 7pm on Thursday’s for late night shopping in the city centre.

Thursday 13 Dec

Tasha and Adam Davies

12.30pm – Swing and pop songs from dynamic vocal duo

1.30pm – Atmospheric Folk Pop Singer / Songwriter

Barrie Briercliffe

3.30pm – Soulful solo vocalist who uses a loop pedal to create the sound of a one man band

Resonate Singers

4.30pm -Young funky choir singing to cheer on shoppers! Open to 8-12 year old children from across Liverpool

Liverpool Signing Choir

5.30pm – A unique choir, using the beauty of sign language and vocals when performing

Garfangle and the Goods

6.30pm – With soulful harmonies and reggae rhythms enjoy their festive feelgood anthem ‘World at One’


Friday 14 Dec 

Squeezebox Helen

12.30pm – Let her squeeze more fun into your festivities, come and enjoy a merry selection of accordion tunes!

1.30pm – Soulful and heartfelt acoustically accompanied vocals 

Liverpool Actors Studio

2.30pm – The Ginger Bread Man cast perform selected songs from the show

The Fire Beneath the Sea

3.30pm – Positive  lyrics and naughty danceable bass lines, all topped up with a fat brass section

Saturday 15 Dec 

The Systematics

12.30pm – All girl fronted four piece rock and roll band, singing songs of love and good times

1.30pm – Atmospheric singer-songwriter performing pop and folk

3.30pm – Singer/songwriter with a dreamy acoustic poppy vibe from Liverpool. 

Wirral Ukulele Orchestra

4.30pm – A wonderful broad range of music all played on ukulele!

Sunday 16 Dec

The Waltones

12.30pm – Lively, long established local band performing a mix of rock ‘n roll and country in their own unique style 

Liverpool Chamber Choir

1.30pm – 12 strong choir perform a mix of traditional and less familiar Christmas carols 

China Pearl performing Chinese Dance

2.30pm – A beautiful contemporary Chinese umbrella dance. All busking money raised will support their performance at the  London Move It Dance Festival in March 


3.30pm – Three young musicians with acoustics who love to share their passion of music!

4.30pm  Energetic New Wave Pop/Punk
